To foster and promulgate the science and practice of clinical nutrition to promote health and high quality patient care.
Goals
- To advance the knowledge and practice of nutrition in the field of medicine, emphasizing both the preventive and therapeutic aspects of disease management.
- To organize regular scientific discussions and training for nutrition practitioners on subjects related to nutrition in the treatment of various acute and chronic diseases.
- To acquire, establish, print and publish books, magazines, periodicals, leaflets or other literary or scientific works that the Society may think desirable for the promotion of its objectives.
- To collaborate with other similar associations of basic and clinical research with interest in nutrition.
- To provide information on nutrition to those who need it and develop guidelines and implementation polices for nutritional support.
- To seek help from government or voluntary organizations and societies and other organizations and individuals to fulfill the above mentioned objectives.
